Vertigo
Team
François Roy started Vertigo in 2001, aimed to make a living out of mountaineering and to contribute in popularizing mountain activities
in eastern Canada. The appeal of his regional ancestral roots was strong enough to bring him back in the Chic-Chocs range, after
other exciting experiences in the Canadian Rockies and French Alps earlier. Exploration geologist from 1989 to 2001, he seek for a
more adventurous and nature oriented job and started a new professional formation with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides.
Since then, François was guiding and teaching avalanche security to a hundred of backcountry skiers every winter.
Other experimented guides join Vertigo when needed.
